Ghillie the sock monster

Ghillie is a three quarter sized English Springer Spaniel. Ghillie's mother is small which may account for his tiny frame. However, what he's missing in size he makes up for in attitude. He pretends to be cute and loving, but Ghillie has nasty habits. Ghillie loves socks, all socks, dirty or clean. He carries them around the house all day long. It creates a good reason for picking up your dirty socks and putting away the clean ones. Countless times I've been sitting on the sofa and Gillie has bounded by with a sock in his mouth. The look on his face reveals his guilt; his eyes like saucers, and his mouth curled up in a smile. Like a pirate with treasure, he carries his booty with pride. If pursued, he curls his body and bounces away in a crab-like manner to avoid capture. Remove the sock, and he finds another. He retrieves balls, but don't expect him to bring back the sock. He's a sock monster, intent on separating every sock in the house.

That is too funny! I can picture his guilty look now. Its amazing how animated they can get! Juno loves socks too. She will pull them off your feet if she can just to throw it around and play with it. We can take bones and food away from her, but try t get a sock back, good luck! I wonder if its a springer thing?
