There are a few places we like to walk Juno.

OF course, Point Pleasant Park is awesome. They have some areas that are off leash all the time and others only before 10am.

Long Lake Provincial Park is another great place. All off leash and some really nice trails through the park. Parking at the St Margarets Bay Rd entrance is minimal.I have never been to any other entrance though so not too sure what parking is like there.

River Road Lake. Just off Terrence Bay Rd. This is nicest in the summer. From what I know, ATV's are no longer allowed up through there which is great. By the lake though, kids usually party there so beware of broken glass in that area. If you carry on up the track and dont go down to the lake, it is pretty good. Sadly lots of people like to dump garbage up there though as there are lots of camps.

Favourite place though is the High Head Trail. Lovely views. The picture of Juno as my avatar was taken up through there. Beautiful scenery.

Juno and I have been going somewhere new this week. The Chain of Lakes Trails. She has really been enjoying it and has seen and smelled all sorts of new things. She saw her first bicycles. That was fun! Will have to work on her lunging at them as they go by. She is getting better but still thinks they look fun to chase! Hopefully as the weather gets better we will get to meet some new dogs and people as the more she meets, the beter she will get.

If you live in the Halifax area though, this is a great place to go for a nice on leash walk.
